Our concept for the Kentucky Coffee Wood project spurred from our now several year long Columbus Percussion 40th Anniversary Buckeye Drums. With the success of our Buckeye drums we thought it would be cool to give a nod to our neighbors to the south and feature some native Kentucky wood along with Noble & Cooley's great designs. As with the Buckeye, N&C had never tried Coffee wood and were glad to take on the challenge.
This drum is single-ply, steam-bent, and features reinforced rings top and bottom. It features N&C's classic lug casings, snare strainer, and butt plate; here in Black Nickel. Natural Oil Finish.
