This beautiful 6x14 Solid Shell walnut snare drum looks great and sounds great too. Noble & Cooley locally sources and hand picks 1/4 inch solid American Walnut planks for each of their solid shell snare drums. This one features a clear matte finish, brass hardware and chrome triple flanged hoops. This drum also features Noble & Cooley's nodal point lug mounting. Nodal Point technology is Noble & Cooley’s very own patent. By placing the lug post at the nodal point of the shell’s natural wavelength, we ensure that the intrinsic tone-creating vibration is unaffected by the mass of the lug. Instead of all drumhead sound, the shell itself adds to the ultimate tone of the drum. This drum will look and sound great in any scenario.
