This IS the world's first Titanium snare drum. Designed in 1989 the Dunnett Classic Titanium snare drum is simply the original. Since its introduction, the Classic Titanium has earned numerous awards: 2 gold medals at the Snare Drum Olympics, the 2005 Drummie Award for Snare Drum of the year and the International Titanium Association's Application Development Award in 2016. This is a drum that is as sincere about sound as you are about your music. The best way to experience this drum is to try it out at a Dunnett Classic dealer. All Dunnett Classic Titanium snare drums are crafted by hand from my exclusive proprietary Year 20 Titanium. The shells are then skillfully mapped and drilled by hand (no lasers or CNC automation is used), then assembled one at a time by me personally. Each and every shells is signed by me and given a date of manufacture and a unique serial name. Hardware includes the workd famous patented R4 throw off, R9 brass tube lugs, my patented Hypervent 1, George Way Double Edge-Double Flange 2.3mm steel hoops, Remo Batter and Dunnett Cristal snare side heads and Dunnett Presence 42 strand snare wires. Finished in the beautiful Raw finish or any number of colour coated finishes. As one my my early clients said to me "I don't want a Titanium snare drum. I want a Dunnett".

One of the primary reasons Ludwig is "The Most Famous Name On Drums" is the legendary Black Beauty Snare Drum. The drum is constructed of a single sheet of brass that is machine drawn into a seamless beaded shell. However, due to their truly unique and difficult manufacturing process, only a very limited number of Black Beauties are available each year from Ludwig USA.

With a choice of two strainer options (P85 Supra-Phonic or P86 Millennium), the Black Beauty responds with excellent sensitivity at all volumes. Choose from Imperial or tube lugs, die cast or triple-flange hoops and a smooth or hand hammered shell.

Noble and Cooley has come to the rescue with their Alloy Classic snare drum. This drum is made from cast aluminum (not rolled from sheet metal), and then CNC machines cut bearing edges and snare beds to incredibly tight tolerances. Add to this the famous cast brass Noble and Cooley throw off, low mass brass tube style lugs, cam action snares, and a choice of heavy triple flanged or die cast hoops, and you have one unbelievable snare drum. This 14" dream drum is available in 6” or 4 7/8 depths, and your choice of black or raw (stunning silver aluminum) shells, with either chrome, back chrome, or brass finished hardware.

• VINTAGE snare drums feature a new throw off. The 'Super 50', a completely redesigned strainer, was inspired by the throw off which was used on the SONOR D-411 and D-412 snares in the 1950's.
