Meinl Aluminum Cuica 6”
A well-known Brazilian instrument, the Cuica is present in a wide variety of styles where it plays an important role. While one hand rubs the internal bamboo shaft with a moist cloth, the other hand controls the pressure of the head, thereby changing the pitch of the tone creating melodies.
This drum uses a real animal hyde as a head. Coloration will vary drum to drum and can be grey to dark brown and anywhere in between.
