Designed as a replacement for vintage 14" Fibes SFT snare drums, the Fibes SFT snare wire has 16 individual strands of premium-grade steel wire. The snares have an overall length of 15 7/8", and a strand length of 14 7/8" (from solder point to solder point). The end plates are standard configuration, giving the player the choice of attachment via either cable or strap.
