This drum, formerly the Steve Ferrone snare drum, is now in its last set of production and is available in this limited edition run.
Few musicians have the tasteful musicality and powerful grooves as Steve Ferrone. That's why he's the first call for such superstars as Eric Clapton, Tom Petty and Anita Baker, to name a few. The heart of this signature snare is its precision-formed brass shell with center bead for strength and enhanced high-frequency projection. Brass Tube lugs complement the shell and allow it to vibrate openly for superb resonance and tone. The shell is plated lustrous black nickel. The "ball-ends" of the lugs are chrome plated with chrome plated shells. The total effect is stunning making this one of the most beautiful drums ever produced.
