Ludwig 6.5x14" Classic Maple Limited-Edition Bun E. Carlos Signature Snare Drum

Ludwig is extremely proud to have partnered with Bun for an extremely limited run of Classic Maple snares that celebrate his 40-plus years as a Ludwig ambassador and the 50th anniversary of Cheap Trick. At the heart of this 6.5x14” snare is Ludwig’s legendary 7-ply, 6mm maple shell, made using their proprietary R.F.S.T. molding process. Once molded and the 45-degree bearing edge is applied- the shell is then adorned with actual, unused Cheap Trick concert tickets from Bun’s touring years with the band that have been in his personal collection for decades. They are all laid out by hand and adhered on each individual drum and then sealed over with a clear polyurethane lacquer, preserving them for all time. No two drums are alike- these are truly hand crafted in Ludwig’s prestigious factory in Monroe, NC. The drum is then outfitted with 10 chrome plated brass tube lugs to allow for maximum visibility, a cast brass Keystone Badge, a P88 throw off, 18-strand “1963” steel snare wires, and a set of Ludwig’s proprietary Weather Master heads top and bottom. Each snare also has a Limited Edition interior label, personally signed by Bun himself. Truly a collector’s dream!
