Innovative Percussion OS9 Medium Glockenspiel Xylophone Mallets / Extremely Bright / Linen Phenolic / Grey Tape / Rattan
The OS8 and OS9 Xylophone/Glockenspiel mallets are both constructed of linen phenolic cores, a hybrid material which produces a full sound with minimum "tick" or "chiff", and an extremely bright tone. The OS8 head is 1 1/8" in diameter, and the OS9 is 1" in diameter. Both models are built on rattan handles.

This series of 7 orchestral xylophone and glockenspiel mallets has been designed in conjunction with Chris Deviney of the Philadelphia Orchestra with the orchestral player in mind. A colored piece of tape is also added to the shaft to distinguish each particular model.
