Sonor's Phonic Re-Issue snare drum features a 12 ply beech shell with an inner and outer rosewood veneer. It is 14" x 5 3/4, and has a 45 degree bearing edge top and bottom. This drum is outfitted with Sonor's classic slotted-style tension rods and die cast hoops. Learn More -

- VINTAGE snare drums feature a new throw off. The 'Super 50', a completely redesigned strainer, was inspired by the throw off which was used on the SONOR D-411 and D-412 snares in the 1950's.
- SONOR has redesigned the original "Superprofil" hoop from the 1950s - a 2.3 mm triple flanged steel hoop with classic shape on snare drum, tom toms and floor toms
- All SONOR lugs are equipped with the patented TuneSafe, which prevents the tension rods from loosening. Tune Safe supports maximum tuning stability even under extreme environments. Square-head tension rods with fine-pitch threads guarantee optimum tunability.
