This exciting and unique new Ludwig finish is available on our most popular Fab configuration and is appointed with a special limited badge. They feature a cross-over shell design blending a 3-ply maple exterior with a 3-ply cherry interior. With five exciting finishes, NeuSonic captures the traditional Ludwig aesthetics coupled with a brand new sound that will compliment a wide-range of performance settings. The industry's best-in-class for price of any USA made drum set.

The shell consists of a 5-ply construction; 3-ply North American Maple core with inner and outer plies of American Red Oak. The shells are 6.5mm thick with dual 45-degree bearing edges. This cross-over shell blends an aggressive attack along with dark tones and quick even decay.

These are thicker North American Maple shells that pack a punch. Incorporating HVLT™ (Vertical Low Timbre shell with a horizontal outer ply), Design Series™ shells are full, resonant, and responsive.
