  • Headhunters Bing Bongs

Bing Bongs use the popular Doobies and Blunt double cut centre dowel concept. The Bing Bongs are white and black alternating polypropylene strands surrounding a 7/16 inch centre dowel. The centre dowel is a premium birch, it is double cut down to the ‘sweet spot’. This concept allows the end to compress and open as it is played. At low volumes this dramatically increases its rebound making buzz rolls and double strokes rolls a reality. The Polypropylene reduces the overall weight on this model as compared to some other in the Performance Bundles category. Learn More

  • Headhunters Bear Claws Hybrid Brush

Bear Claws create some unique sound possibilities. The poly material is molded at the playing to produce a 90-degree bend. The ‘claws’ are 1 inches in length. They can be used to create cool scratch effects on coated heads. The claws increase the attach and definition on both cymbals and drums. Flipping the claws over and playing on the ‘knuckle’ side is less exaggerated but very effective percussive attack. Learn More

  • Headhunters Shoots Bundle Sticks

The downside to most bundled rods using birch is their durability. With Shoots, the 19 rods are bamboo dowels formed into the hexagonal shape. Bamboo is heavier and more flexible than birch but extremely durable making them a great choice for heavy hitters that may not need bounce at low volume levels. Learn More

  • Headhunters Rhino Brushes

These are some of the most unique modern brush designs to reach drummers today. Wire drum brushes were first invented in 1913. After 100 years of very little changes to the concept of wire brushes, we and redesigned and revolutionized the entire concept. Rhino incorporate an adjustable polycarbonate rod and a traditional non retractable wire brush. The rod used in the Rhino is heavier and stiffer than that of the Cyclops and there is no bead. When rod is engaged in or impacted in rims or cymbals the sound it very distinct. The larger rod has incredible reflex and therefore its rebound is extremely fast. Learn More
