- The unique 30° /45° Double-cut bearing edge allows the middle ply to vibrate first so the entire shell vibrates faster. This results in a more focused tone
- Bottom head's deeper bed gives a quicker snare response and crisper tone. The rounded edge shape of the snare bed also improves response and tuning accuracy
- New three-piece tubular lug reduces shell contact and improves resonance, thus enhancing the natural vibration and tone of the shell
- 14" models include a snare option: the CSM-1450 and CSM-1465 feature an uncoated stainless steel straight cable strainer in the box as an option to the standard stainless steel coiled wire strainer
