Details
Details
The Solid Aluminum snares use a cast shell that goes through a machining process. The seamless shells are 3mm thick at the shell wall and 5mm thick at the each edge and have 45-degree bearing edges. The inside of these shells are finished with a buffing process, but are not polished. Shell exteriors have the classic center Gretsch knurling pattern, are not plated and are finished with a light coat of lacquer. Additional features include Lightning throw-off, top and bottom die-cast hoops, 'Snap-In' key holder, classic Gretsch 'Drop G' octagon badge, Permatone coated top with underside dot/clear bottom heads and 42-Strand snare wire (20-strands on 13" drums).
