Five Star Big Beat Event – November 2nd
Several of the Five Star drum shops (including Columbus Percussion!) are trying to get together the world's largest gathering of drummers. The goal of the event is to "break a world record, have fun and raise money for worthwhile causes." These drum shops are trying to set a new world record for the most drummers playing at the same time. Details are still being ironed out, but proceeds will go to the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation to benefit underprivileged youngsters by providing them with musical instruments. Todd Sucherman Clinic, October 30!
Todd Sucherman is coming to Columbus Percussion on Thursday, October 30th at 8:00 P.M! The 12-year veteran drummer from the band Styx is going to come and give a clinic for the masses. Todd has appeared on records and toured with loads of different big-name artists, with rock, pop, and everything in between.
Columbus Percussion is also having a sale the week of the clinic on all of Todd Sucherman's sponsored products. Stay tuned for more information.
Bob Gatzen Drum Care Clinic, October 13th
Bob Gatzen will be coming in to show you how to make your drums sound great! The clinic will be held around 8pm, here on the sales floor at CPP.
Bob Gatzen is a frequently published author for Warner Bros. Music Publishing and Alfred Publishing. Aside from his publishing endeavors, he holds several U.S. and international design patents for Evans Drumheads and other industry leaders and has received many MIPA (Music Industry Press Award) awards for his work. In 2005 Modern Drummer Magazine awarded Bob the “Editors Choice Achievement Award” penning Bob as the “Renaissance Man”. He continues to publish CD and DVD materials as well as clinic across the US.
Tim Jackson Returns!
